In-between the deck and the TKP X-Caliber truck is a pivoting mount assembly which allows for a much wider range of fluid motion at the front end of the board. Couple that with another TKP X-Caliber truck at the back of the board for stability and you've got a soulful carving board that will turn on a dime without ever feeling unstable. And, of course, those trucks come with 83a X-Caliber 65mm wheels for the perfect mix of grip, smoothness and speed on each of those carves. The deck itself is an absolute beauty - it has five layers of regular Canadian maple, but the top and bottom plies are made of gorgeous bamboo. And at 9" wide, with wheel-wells to prevent wheelbite, and with a short kicktail for manoeuvrability when you need it, it's just as functional as it is beautiful.
