I have a beautiful phone that I use (often) on a gimbal. I have been using a holster/belt clip arrangement to protect the phone, but it was real inconvenient when using the gimbal. I would have to remove the back phone cover and attach the clamp in order to mount and balance the phone on the gimbal. This would leave the phone case unprotected when the gimbal was in use. This particular gimbal model uses a clamp, that has a magnet attached, to connect the phone to the gimbal. It also comes with a magnetic disc, that has an adhesive backing that you stick onto your phone to spare the mounting and balancing every time you first use it. So, to solve all my difficulties, I purchased the Spigen back cover as a possible solution. Not only does the clear case fit my phone perfectly, it also allows the beauty of the phone show through while protecting it. The attachable magnetic disc's adhesive adhered excellently to the Spigen's smooth surface. Once you've lined up where to stick the disc (after using an included template) it does not require mounting and balancing again unless you change the phone's weight distribution. Now I don't have to remove the holster back cover, attach the phone clamp, and balance the phone every time I mount it on the gimbal. All I have to do is unfold my gimbal and connect the gimbal magnet to the magnetic disc on the Spigen cover. THE PLUS MORE... Something I had wondered about before making my cover purchase, but could not determine until the cover arrived was: will the slim profile of the Spigen cover allow the phone to fit inside my holster and afford me the phone protection I was accustomed to?The answer is...YES it does.

I ordered the Ultra Hybrid Spigen Case (the Crystal Clear Version) for my s9+ and I wasn't disappointed, for the most part.First, let me praise what the case does well:Starting from the unboxing, the case was easy to take out, and applying it to my phone was decent (just make sure to clean the back of your phone and the inside of the case before putting it on to prevent stray fingerprints).Regarding its design, the case feels well built (even when it's so thin) and looks beautifully simple. Being clear, the case will do a spectacular job at displaying whatever color your s9+ is. Also, if you want, you can put a wallet-sized picture on the back of your phone to showcase a pet/friend/family.Being fairly clumsy, I drop my phone several times a day, but I have yet to see any damage done to the actual phone; additionally, your phone's screen and camera are protected by the raised bezels.Also, it doesn't hurt that the price of the case is fairly low :)Regarding the negatives of the case, only a handful are present:After a few days of use, I noticed some scuffs and scratches on the back of the case. The scuffs/scratches negatively affect the overall aesthetic of the case/phone.Additionally, the fact that the case is hard plastic makes it a fingerprint magnet and a little slippery. After a few days of use, I found myself carrying around a microfiber cloth and gripping my phone harder than usual. You will unconsciously make the adjustment :)One minor point is that putting the case on requires more effort than usual due to the hard and rigid structure of the case.I have always purchased cases from Spigen and have never been disappointed, and this case is no exception. Hands down, the best attribute of the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Clear Case is that it will protect your phone while showing off its beautiful color.On a side note, the case does protrude slightly onto the phone screen; so be cautious if you are using a screen protector. I currently am using the Spigen NeoFlex, and it works well with the case.

I had seen some reviews where the customers complained that the case did not protect their phone after they dropped it or that the case did not come up far enough to protect the screen.I had bought this case now not once but twice and it had done all what it promised. I never had an issue with fitting nor the looks of it nor the case being easily scratched. In fact, I had dropped mine now numerous times even on an asphalt surface as I got out of my car and was clumsily holding my phone in my hand. It does get kind of yellowish with time but if one cleans it regularly as the instruction suggests it does stay relatively clear.Perfect protection! Thanks for making this product!

When I first got this case I was worried about it because of the back. It is clear but is a fingerprint magnet. I have not paid any attention to it after the first day. I take a microfiber cloth that I wipe the screen with and clean the back and it looks just fine. I like being able to see the phone color thru the case. It actually gives a slight mirror type effect. On a review I read about a clear case they were saying it was casting a shine or white place when they used the camera. I have not experienced that with this this one. It fits very snug. All the buttons, cut outs, ports etc.. are exactly where they should be. No problems in that area. The blue color around the edge does not match exactly the color of the phone. For me its close enough. The case has a good feel to it. Not slippery like the phone without a case is. One note of advice, when putting on the case try not to touch the inside because you will leave fingerprints. You will see them thru the clear part and try to clean them off to learn they are on the inside. Not saying they ever happened to me! yeah right. Like I said before it cleans easy enough with a microfiber. The top and bottom edge does come up higher than the screen so hope it gives enough protection. I hope I will never have to find out. But accidents do happen.

Absolutely excellent case. Not only does it look and feel great, as you'd expect from Spigen, but it adds hardly any bulk to the phone. I like the fact that the soft bumper completely encases the edges and buttons as well. The best part though, is that I'm using it alongside a Whitestone tempered glass screen protector, and the case butts perfectly up to the edges of it. There's literally about a quarter of a mm between the edge of the protector, and where the bumper starts, so I know my phone is very well looked after.

I was looking for a good value but quality branded clear case to replace the black see through Tech21 case I already had.I bought this case after reading Rob W's review where he mentioned the Whitestone screen protector which I also have on my S9 plus.I am very impressed with the quality and superb fit I have always been a Tech21 fan until now but the fit and finish of the Spigen is equally as good as Tech21 but 1/3 of the cost.The case is a perfect fit nice and tight with all the buttons in the right place and much slimmer than the Tech21 making it hardly noticeable when fitted, the clear design shows off the beauty of the phone and as Rob W said it's perfect if you have a whitestone glass screen protector the edges meet perfectly with the glass so it all blends seamlessly unl8ke the Tech21 which left a nasty gap despite being a chunkier case.Overall I think the Spigen case is 10 out of 10 and 8 would recommend them to anyone.

This case is for the Samsung Galaxy S9+Its sturdy and I feel much safer with my phone cradled by it. It's not an intrusive case and looks gorgeous on the phone if you're looking to show off whatever colour you have, buttons and cut outs are nice and prominent and the cut out near the camera helps your finger towards the fingerprint scanner every time.Can't recommend it enough.

I've used the same case for Note 4 in the past and my phone was well protected even after dropping numerous times over the last 2 years. Case lasted 2 years too. Purchased this case for S9+ and it's perfect. Fits so well and clear case allows to display the phone in it's original form. I'm sure it will protect my mobile as Spigen seems to be a very good company for mobile case

Spigen cases are generally very good and I normally buy their case each time I upgrade my phone. This time I was after a clear case with minimal weight to the phone. This case I found was too tight for the phone. Took a lot of effort to get the case off. Also finger prints show a lot with this case.I travel a lot so swapping sim cards is a common occurrence. Will look at one of their other cases which comes in two parts..
