My 2 year old standard poodle is sensitive to food. Even on the best quality diet she throws her food up. I started her on these probiotics a year ago. She stopped being ill. I tried to take her off them for a month over the summer when I tried another food. She was fine for a month and than started throwing up again multiple times per day. Once I put her back onto the probiotics she stopped throwing up. She has a very deep chest. I had to have her stomach stapled when she was fixed at a year old (wanted to wait longer but she had too many near misses with bloat). My dog is very fussy and will not eat if there is any kind of alien concoction in her food, but she loves this product. It smells of beef and has a beef flavor . She laps it up and not only does she not mind but seems to eat more if this is on her food. Definitely 5 stars plus. Very helpful customer service as well who does not mind answering questions and has a genuine love of dogs and their well being.

I am a big proponent of probiotic's and this brand is great! I have a small dog that I feed a raw diet too and there were times her poops weren't coming out easily for her. Once I started her on California Dog Probiotic they are firmer and easier to get out. I also give her medicine for her heart that's been a struggle to get her to take. These are liver flavored and hide the taste of the med's - no more struggling. This will be a continued addition to her diet.
