I decided to order the non-backlit kindle for the audio capabilities (of course a couple of months later they release a backlit one WITH audio capabilities, but that’s just my luck...). I got this to be able to read at night, and it has helped a lot. It’s not too heavy, and it takes some moving around, but you’ll eventually find the right position for it to light the page perfectly.

This is the perfect light for reading at night. Very pleased

Almost a year to date I have had this little book light using it almost nightly to do studying while in bed. It has finally decided to break which I am upset about. I suppose it is time to order a new. Definitely well worth the price. Will continue to order more in the future. Just wish it would last longer. It seems the light disconnected from the electrodes that transmit the charge which is unfortunate. I tried fixing it but no luck :/

Perfect...what I want...

Works great. Battery lasts longer than I expected.

The light can be controlled well from moderate to very bright light. However, you cannot reach the USB port completely in order to recharge this light, so it is useless. Great concept, but crappy design. Also, could be another 6”-8” taller.

The built-in light is the best feature. The light gets up to four times brighter after eacj siccessoveI haven't had a chance to try this "light" on a Kindle reader, but I am pretty sure that it would work just fine if it was made better.. Maybe it's because I am past my "prime" but it was very disturbing not to be able to assemble this light the way it's supposed to be. It's really very simple, but as I said previously, you need to have a little strength. I like the fact that the brightness of the light can be adjusted according to your preference and it would be very welcome on a plane or train ride or wherever you want to have your own private space.
