There are very few people on earth who could have written this book. It addresses all key aspects of biometric technology and its deployment.In particular, it includes many references to real world initiatives and presents perspectives on the emerging shape of the biometric industry that only seasoned professionals could provide.It addresses what has been a very complex and fragmented industry in a very readable and satisfying way and will be of immense benefit to anyone associated with biometric deployment in the public or private sectors.A "must have" for anyone interested in biometrics.

This book provided a clear and concise viewpoint on biometric security and devices. Unlike a lot the hype that is out there on biometrics, this book provides a REAL road map for evaluating biometric networked systems.

The guys from IBG (International Biometrics Group) did their best to create an introduction to biometrics and their applications.I'd say they did a reasonable job. There's not many books out there, so if you want to dip your toes in the biometric waters, this might be a good place.
