Francie is a 16" cloth doll mermaid, whose tail is filled with sand to help create many delightful poses. The hands and fingers are wired as well for more posing possibilities. Francie sings to the starfish and the sea anemones so that they grow strong. Her skin is made from hand-dyed, densely woven cotton that allows for fine detailing during needle sculpting. The facial features are hand drawn with oil based pencils and pigment pens. They are set with a matte varnish. All embellishments are handsewn onto the doll. High quality yarns are handsewn to the head to create fun whimsical hair. Original design by Kasydy Jayne Dolls. Francie is an art doll and not intended as a child's toy.
