I didn't read the reviews as I'd brought a similar product before, but from a different company. Had I done so I would of never purchased this.The paint on the reducer plate set on fire, had I not been in the kitchen at the time things could of been a lot worse than a scorched chopping block and smoke fumes.

Worthless and dangerous.
I usually don't review but this is such a piece of junk I'd have to prevent others from ordering it. Placed it on my new black range to make coffee, let it brew as I read the paper, when I suddenly smelled burning plastic. ALL of the paint had burned off and exposed was cheap metal. I can't believe it just had a layer of cheap paint not enamel.

Extreme fire hazard
Very dangerous, within minutes this was well alight, the coating on the ring caught fire leaving a nasty smell.Cannot understand how this has passed any QA/Safety regs.

A waste of money.
I bought this item because my saucepans were tipping up on the hob. Now they wobble before they tip. Would not recommend.
