I am really impressed with this little floor lamp. It comes in a smaller box than I expected and you have to screw the sections of pole together. I was dubious about this as these type of tube fittings often end up being out of true alignment and look cheap, but this is not the case here. The three metal segments screwed together securely on good quality metal threads (after removing the plastic protective sleeves from each end), and form a really solid and smooth pole. The lamp and base are then screwed onto each end. The base is solid and heavy so it stands well on any floor, including thick carpet. There's just one touch button - when you tap it, it lights up and transforms the completely (cool looking) black lampshade into a white one, or with another tap, it switches to gently rotating colours, or a third tap switches it to a steady single colour of your choice. Once you've chosen one of these modes, holding the same button down adjusts brightness or changes to your chosen colour.I think it looks great, and would suit just about any room. It's not a 'full height' floor lamp, standing just over a metre tall, so it stands at a perfect height next to a settee or bed for reading, or for low light while I'm using my computer.The cable, down at the base, has a female USB C socket, and there is a suitable cable and UK plug included.I've currently got it standing just behind my computer chair, set on red, so it adds extra atmosphere while playing Doom on my pc!

I ordered 2 of these lamps, one for my elderly mother, and 1 for me.They were delivered quickly enough and on first inspection seem to be good quality with a nicely cast heavy base, which is critical to stability.The stem is assembled from 3 pieces which have to be screwed into each other. I was slightly concerned that the cable which runs through the pieces is fixed at the LED end and has to rotate with the lower stem as it is screwed into the middle tube. I also had to pull the cable further out at the base of the lower tube otherwise it would be too long to allow the tubes to reach each other. Anyway, it seems to work ok so I guess there's not a problem with this.There are several functions including 60 second and 10 minute timer (I'm not sure if these work), several levels of brightness and colour but the remote is quite directional and has to be pointed roughly towards the lamp before it will work.Having said that, we have both of these in the same room and it's difficult to get them to operate separately as the signal seems to be stronger in some directions than directly in front of the remote which is a bit annoying.The biggest issue however is that a UK 3 pin plug was not provided (no mention of this in the ad) and an adaptor has to be found before it can be used, which is a bit of a downer on Christmas morning when you want it to work.Despite the issues it does produce a nice colour bright light and I can recommend this it, but be aware, an adapter will be required.

An excellent floor standing lamp that has various light settings.A good height for next to a bed.Provides a nice level of light either warm white or cool white.Very well made.

Beautifully made and really stylish. Excellent range of light adjustments via the neat remote control. Superb for those of us who often find reading by artificial light for any length of time a bit wearing. You will need two AAA batteries and a two pin to three pin plug adapter as unit is supplied with the type of plug often found on electric toothbrush chargers and shavers. Don’t be put off by this as the lamp is an excellent product.

This looks really nice. Easy to put together and you can have different colour.

I've really come around though now, and use it most days as reading light over my sofa. It's not the brightest as it concentrates the light downwards, which is perfect for reading and creates a lovely atmosphere in the room.The colours are fun I suppose; I haven't really used them beyond playing around. I think I would actually prefer they weren't an option as you have to cycle through the three modes to turn the thing off. I find this somewhat annoying, as sometimes it doesn't pick up your touch, and other times it delays a second, meaning you accidentally turn it back on! A minor annoyance if you have your arms full as you leave the room in the evening.Apart from that, it's a great design which has really grown on me. Would look fantastic as a pair and I may have to bite the bullet and purchase a second! It's very well made, and while a bit on the expensive side (£69.98 at time of ordering), it is definitely a higher quality than the cheaper ones. If you can find it on sale for under £50, it's well worth the investment. Highly recommended.
