I have a pretty insane number of flashlights. I love an inexpensive light that feels like quality -- and that's what we have here.The Zenbre LB6 model. Nicely made from black anodized aluminum, feels very sturdy. Manufacturer claims it is water and shock resistant. Button switch on the barrel rather than on the end cap, makes it easy to work, though you do need to spin the light in your hand to bring the button under your thumb. Positive, clear click. Light is very bright and it has high, low, and flash modes. (I wish these lights didn't normally go through flash mode -- when do you ever use that??!? -- but minor nuisance.)The beam has a central hot spot. Outside the central strong beam, it's nice and even. (My personal pref is an even beam without the central spot but some people prefer a bright central beam with a wider cone of even light around that, and that's what this light delivers.)The product comes with a 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The manufacturer claims 6 hours, which I did not test. It's charged inside the flashlight using USB micro connection (cable included). Nice -- no fiddling with swapping batteries or an external charger.One tip: At first I thought there was no battery. My mistake -- there is a separate compartment in the box.Also a paper in the box advises, “Please remove the insulating trip from the battery.” Trip? Maybe they mean strip? I don’t see anything obvious to remove. There is a clear plastic covering but it does not cover the battery terminals at all and I could not tell if it should be removed and the light worked fine without removing anything.

Good bright light. I have not put the water proofing to the test, and frankly I think it would fail. The charging port cover I have found to be loose. Holds charge well, and is definitely bright.

Bright at first. Then it got really hot and doesn’t work now, won’t charge or turn on.
