Well designed, the right size and looks practically unbreakable, one of those bits of gear that just does the job and lasts for years, taken for granted till you lose it and find its no longer available, then it's upsetting, so buy two.

have used this a few times now and find it very good for method or ledger fishing as you can tension the line with moving rod left or right in the rest would recommend to all fishermen. Can also be used for pole fishing which is its main use.

Dissapointed at first, one side of the rest became detached on its first outing, however, strengthening with a metal rod fixed with araldite solved the problem, both sides are now secure. May l suggest that the centre core should be manufactured from solid stock and not from the fragile tube especially as weight is not a concern.
