This is just what you need for a 1" bird feeder pole!!
This fit just right on my 1" pole I had installed in order to put a bird feeder on top. I was surprised to find that no one locally sells anything like this handy little item. I painted some wood, maybe 10" x 24", sealed it, screwed it onto this piece, then put my birdfeeder on that. Then just set the whole contraption on the pole, tightened the 2 screws, and it's steady! Steady and sturdy. Oh yeah, and you should add a squirrel baffle as well. It's always a good idea to baffle the squirrels.

Does not fit 1 inch poles
This does not fit one inch poles, it fits 3/4 inch poles.

Works perfectly. Keeps the squirrels away so the birds can feed without hassle and no food lost to the squirrels.I don't want to feed or encourage squirrels, so we have baffles on poles we cannot use one of these on. so they can't climb up the poles, although they try every day.

Will not fit 1" EMT/Conduit as described
The ID of the bracket where the pole goes in is 1 inch. You CAN NOT get 1" EMT/Conduit into it. 3/4 PVC fits fine. 3/4 EMT or galvanized pipe is loose but can probably be used.

Sturdy and high quality
Mama and papa Bluebirds and their babies are happy! The assemblage has proved study through rough weather and has stayed tight without having to adjust anything. We are in round two of babies, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Item was Good
This item seems to be fine. I am still in the process of building the birdhouse so I haven't actually used it yet. It appears exactly what I was looking for.

Sturdy in high winds if mounted securely
I mounted this on my deck with a sturdy bird feeder, all held up in 60 mph wind and rain.
