1st of all its not the lead that splits the signal its the graphics card I have 2 of these in same card running four 19 inch dell supersharp monitors with one image slit across 4 screens because my graphic card is able to do this amd catlyst control centre allows this I did have on 2 scteens but image was streched too much now its on 4 its awsome especially on games like gta v and wwe 16 the best thing is to get a graphics card with 2 vgas and let the control centre do the rest

Works. It will degrade your screen heavily, pending on what screens you combine. On mine it only lowered brightness with little distortion to some colours. Acceptable for money. Also, no other choice, no active splitter for reasonable money.

Excellent!I needed to be able to connect my little Sammy to my monitor sometimes instead of my desktop but it was such a fiddly job - and pretty traumatic for my monitor too, having to practically turn it upside down and twiddle screws in awkward places. I could see it was just a matter of time before I dropped and broke the monitor. Quite how anybody can give this cable less than five stars is beyond my comprehension. If the cable is not suitable for the purpose it was intended for then the fault lies with your assessment of the problem not with this cable. I have a monitor and a 32" TV and required the TV to be the main connection but also wanted the ability to view the monitor. All components are in the same room and no long cables required therefore the perfect solution was this rather inexpensive cable that allowed both the monitor and the TV to be plugged into the cable then the cable to be plugged into the PC. The reviewer that insists you should not buy this cable as it is not possible to split video this way is at best wrong and at worst an idiot as i have and i would assume many others have managed to split the video feed using this cable. Excellent product at an excellent price. No splitter box or other expensive solution required for the above type of set-up.

When something costs 89p don't believe it will work. I have a Pc and use a manual switch to switch between my TV & monitor and it works well. But always thought there was a better way, when I plugged all the cables in I had fuzzy vision on my monitor and it was just about okay on the TV. So its a good idea but don't spend 89p.

perfect for splitting signal from a computer to two monitors - but note its the same signal, which is what i needed as my computer didnt have appropriate soiftware or connections to send two different signals to two different monitors. However this splitter was perfect for my needs , slight loss of signal but not that noticeable.

Great product, I can now sit at the other end of the room on my embroidery machine, and control the design with a wireless mouse instead of zooming backwards and forwards across the room.I can also use it to help my granddaughter with her work, watching what she is writing and helping her with grammar, spelling and punctuation.

can't really add much more than the title says, it works fine straight out of the box,only thing I will add is the splitter will reduce the output quality, which I thought it would before buying, not a gripe for me but could be a down side for others, just a heads up.
