This works great on an Epson 9800!
At first it flashed red when touching the tank chip but then the light would go out. I then tried pressing in until it would not move any further. Still no luck. I finally waited until the red again appeared and pressed only slightly to maintain contact. The red quickly changed to green and my Epson 9800 showed 100% empty on two half filled tanks. Wish I had known about this years ago.

Didn't work was told it would work for my ink cartridge. Was miss lead for a buck

Doesn't work for Epson XP 440 ink cartridge XL 288.
