Chip Resetter for Canon PGI-525 and CLI-526 cartridges [USB]

Excellent item. When you consider that, drop for drop, printer ink is quite possibly the most expensive "liquid" in the world, (including blood I suspect), and yet made primarily of WATER and dye, this is a very astute investment. Wish I'd seen one of these before taking the decision to buy a CISS (continual ink supply system), which turned out to be one of my most frustrating ever buys. These do exactly what they say, even to non genuine cartridges. Printer manufacturers should hang their heads in shame that it's nearly as cheap in some cases to buy a new printer each time, rather than new cartridges!

Set the cartridges correctly and very efficiently

only tried it on a grey colour cartridge so far and worked perfectly - I buy cheap so-called Canon cartridges and one was indicating empty when it was full so clearly was a refill and the chip had not been reset but the resetter tool did the job and is now working fine in the printer. Is expensive but reckon if still works as described on other problem cartridges it will soon pay for itself against the cost of buying 'genuine' new Canon cartridges

Does what it's claimed to do. No problem with exhausted batteries, because it's powered from computer USB socket. It is necessary to buy and use this setter to get a cartridge which you filled with a syringe to work on a Canon Printer. I bought dozens of products from Amazon and have never been disappointed. I recemmend this resetter 100 per cent.

The postman dropped this off about 10 minutes ago.It probably took longer to get the unit out of the packaging than it did to reset my 5 cartridges.Simple, effective, no fuss.For an outlay of £25 it's already saved me about £45 in new cartridges.Well pleased!

The item was delivered within two days, well before estimated delivery date. Well done to the seller OctoInkjet Limited.I bought this because I have a Canon MG6150 printer (which uses PGI-525 / CLI-526 cartridges) purchased in Europe, but when I moved to the Middle East the regionalised ink cartridges here (renamed PGI-425 / CLI-426) would not work in our printer. The REdSETTER works perfectly. It allows me to buy cartridges in the Middle East, very quickly reset the chip, and they then work perfectly in our printer. Now I don't have to buy armfuls of cartridges every time I visit home.
