advertises heavy duty and i don't agree - medium duty at best.

Not compostable
I posted a question asking if these were compostable and the seller answered "yes." When I received the box, I noticed it said on the bottom that it takes 5-20 years for these to break down in a landfill. Anything compostable will break down within 3 months. The seller outright lied to me and I am going to report them for false advertising.

I purchased this product for my companies office so that we can do better at going green. The knives are great. They are heavy enough not to break easily and sharp enough to cut food easily. Additionally, I purchased spoons and forks from this same company.

Trash issues
My staff did not seem to grasp the rinse and recycle system we had in place. This makes me feel better given the amount we use and toss that we are not leaving a large impact on our environment.

This product meets all expectations - eco-friendly, just-right size for a disposable knife, sturdy and sharp enough to cut through meats. This is my second purchase for our office from this company and everyone loves this product!

Great alternative disposables
I run a small motel and go through lots of utensils during breakfast. I feel better about what goes in the trash when I use Transitions2Earth products. In addition to being biodegradable, they are sturdy and attractive
