## Overview

NORUST by FILA is a fast-acting, acid-free rust remover designed specifically for delicate surfaces like marble, granite, and porcelain. Safe for a wide range of natural and engineered stone surfaces, NORUST offers a professional-grade solution to restore your floors and countertops without damage or waste.

## Description

Product Description FILA NORUST XL is the professional rust stain remover developed by FILA Solutions to remove surface rust deposits and iron oxide stains from floors, patios and surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. Its defining feature is the non-acidic formula: unlike common acidic rust removers, which can corrode and dull more delicate materials, NORUST XL works safely on polished marble, natural stone and agglomerates, making it the ideal solution where traditional rust removers cannot be used. NORUST XL works in just 15 minutes after application. Its thick, gel-like consistency makes it easy to treat vertical surfaces without dripping; it is also non-foaming and rinses away easily. As it works, the product turns a deep purple colour on contact with rust: a genuine visual indicator that lets you identify the presence of iron oxide with certainty, rather than another contaminant. Suitable for a wide range of surfaces: marble, granite, natural stone, agglomerates, porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, terracotta, concrete, metal, glass and painted surfaces. It can also be used preventively, to avoid the formation of rust in iron-rich environments. How to use: ready-to-use product, do not dilute. Apply with a brush or fleece pad, leave to act for about 15 minutes, remove the residue and rinse thoroughly with clean water. For more stubborn stains, repeat the application. Indicative coverage: 10 sqm per litre. From FILA Solutions, Italian experts in the care and protection of surfaces since 1943. Ingredients Check SDS

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone tried this on marble that has gone brown?**
A: Only Indian paving where it worked well. I hate these problems! I’m not 100% sure what my fireplace is made of Marble, granite onyx.... how do you know.

**Q: Will this work on Quartz without damaging the surface?**
A: yes doesn't damage any surface whatsoever. i tried on marble and it worked fine.

**Q: Would this work on a toilet bowl**
A: I’m not sure it worked excellent on the ceramic slabs tho worth a try

**Q: How much area does one bottle cover?**
A: Very difficult to answer that question as obviously it would depend on the level of rust to be removed. However, it only took a small amount to remove around 3 to 5 inches of rust (about 1/2 inch wide) for my problem. It would cover a reasonable sized area.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ best Rust Remover i had used

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't get too excited
*by J***E on 22 April 2021*

Having done a lot of research to find a product to get rid of what looks like yellow rust stains on my new terrace, I finally came across this product and read all the reviews. I ordered a bottle and went to use it. As it says in the instructions, pour the liquid over the stains and after a few minutes it will go mauve. Sure enough it did and after a few more minutes wipe it away. This is where the disappointment comes. Some stains went and the rest stayed. Not to be deterred I went at it again but that's when the small bottle ran out. I went to order some more, thinking I could get a larger container, eg 1 litre, but no you can only buy this stuff in these small containers. So in conclusion I had mixed results and the cost for such a small container is expensive. there must be a better way.
