Sheath was supposed to fit 8-9 inch knife. Sheath received would barely cover a 2" knife!!! Ridiculous scam like another Amazon product I received -- a so-called "sheet set" without a top sheet!!

Fit knife snug so it does not fall out easily, which is very important and n my book. I had a case sheath that loads on the side and it stretched out so the knife would fall out, this sheath has not stretched out to where that happens. I am very happy with it after daily use for more than a year.
