Browning Auto-5 Shotguns, The Belgian FN Production - Revised, Second Edition

I bought this book for my husband for Christmas and may I say this book is beautiful done! Shipping time was quicker than expected. I didn't bother to open the box that it was shipped in but wrapped it and put it under the tree. When my husband opened it on Christmas he was amazed by the beautiful picture and all the history it shared. There was a lovely letter from the author included with the book and he even signed the book also! What a extra special surprise that was. Needless to say my husband loved it so much he didn't bother to open the rest of his presents right then. He has already made his request for one of his other books for his birthday! Thank Mr Vanderlinden my husband will treasure this book! It's has great information on Browning rifles and the history of them.

The other reviews are right. If you care about this iconic gun, you want this beautiful, meticulous book.The illustrations are extensive and wonderful.The details are precise and entertaining. Did you know they repeated the first 500 serial numbers?The book is clearly a work of love. You might love it, too.

Great photos and info that clearly can only come from FN directly. I inherited a Belgium made Auto-5 and this helps me understand the history of the gun. I bought from "Wolf Hounds" (Amazon seller) which is the author/publisher and got the bonus of a signed copy!

A beautifully made hardcover book that is full of history, unique pictures, and charts regarding production dates for serial numbers. Great source of model development and differences. I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of the Browning A5. Buy it!

Awesome book, fills in all the missing elements other publications don't cover. The hardbound has great pictures and lot's of new content specific to the Auto-5. It's a must have for those tracking Brownings iconic shotguns. Author Signed my copy!!!
