Works as describes. I use it upside down and it holds. I have our electrical outlets under the kitchen cabinet bottoms facing down towards the counter top (wife didn't want outlets to mar her pretty backsplash. Cabinet were specifically designed to allow this). This means the while thing is held in place with the friction of the electric outlet prongs. Since my outlet had never really been used it held tight so no problem. With the light rail mounted on the bottom of the cabinet, the whole thing is complete invisible! Perfect! If you have a loose outlet, which might work fine vertically, it might not hold upside down given the weight of the rig. You have to use your original echo dot charger since the mount just grips by friction around the charger. Of course, way over prices but like some things, if you need it, you need it. They would claim it's "value priced". At least well made and fits the dot perfectly without blocking the microphones which is nice.

the basic design is ok except I can't find a charger that fits. I have tried 5 differentYo wall chargers and none of them work with their cutout for a charger. Since this needs a certain kind of charger that fits the mount, you would think they would either tell you the name of one that fits or provide them with the hanger. Very frustrating.

This is so nice to have if you have the Dot. I kept mine on my windowsill in my bedroom and it would fall off. Now I have a place for it out of the way. I'm going to order a few more for my kids rooms. We love Alexa!!

It works great. My echo dot fits right in it and no problems with getting it to hang from the receptacle. I did, however, have an issue with getting it to fit with a three outlet adapter in the same receptacle. It just didn't leave enough room for my adapter. No big deal though. I just had to flip it around and plug it in the top outlet with the adapter in the lower outlet. This is quite handy and now no more worries about something being spilled on it. And it saves counter space in my kitchen.

Great way to have Alexa ready! Keeps the echo dot plugged and mounted on the wall. No need to give up counter, desk or table space, and minimizes clutter. The plug is easy to access if you need to unplug your device for privacy reasons.Great idea that works well especially for the price.

I use these to hang Alexa on the wall instead of sitting on a horizontal surface. it is much easier to direct your voice this way, since you can talk at the dot, instead of your voice bouncing off walls and ceiling to get to it. Also is much neater to mount using the bracket and short cord.

It does what it says it will. It's easy enough to put up, and it holds the Echo Dot in pretty firmly.

this is great. Works exactly as you would want it to. I will say that I put this in my bathroom where I have a white sink and it would have been nice to match that with white device/accessories. Just a heads up for something I didn't think about.
