Pros and Cons of this charging grip
Pros: Lasts pretty long (Its expected for a 10000 mah battery), the leds in it helps to check the battery, there are 2 holes in the casing where the from of the console is for the joysticks, you can charge your phone or anything you would like to charge while you have the case on, it fits in snug because there are little notches to keep it from either breaking the usb c port or connector and it cant fall back because it lays on the back. The reason i brought that up is because one of the people who reviewed it said that the usb s connecter was holding it up but i doesnt so yeah. Its is also pretty comfortable. Its as comfortable as the switcb with no comfort grip but thicker.Cons: Its kinda beefy, I think these are prototypes because the whole for the vents aren't holes they are just there, the switch fans go on full blast because a lot of air doesnt come out but people said it gets hot but that hasnt been a problem for me (I only got it today tho), it could take a bit to charge, the case itself gets hot sometimes because of the battery, its kinda hard to take the console ot of it but you'll be able to.

One way to add hours of gaming on your Switch, just be careful with heat buildup..
I ordered this for the obvious reason of getting a self contained way of extending my Switch battery life when on long trips. This particular case-battery does exactly that, but.. charging and playing a graphically intensive game that would normally make the Switch hot without a case is not recommended by myself. I have no proof that it reaches dangerous temps, but I played BoTW while charging for a few hours and realised the case was getting warm. I put my hand to the back of the case and it was pretty warm, so I pulled the Switch out of the case and the back of the Switch was very warm. Warmer than I had ever felt it without the case. The Switch is designed well thermally, but with a powerful console packed in such a small space, it's going to push the limits. The Switch has been designed to deal with that, but the addition of the heat of charging, with something that acts almost like an insulator pressed against the back of the unit, and the regular heat it produces itself, I don't think this allows for proper heat dissipation. I think in extreme conditions, aka playing a game that uses the full power of the Switch, pushing it to it's designed thermal limits, while charging which heats up the battery as well, makes for too much heat, and either the battery or the Switch will get damaged eventually in my opinion. From a design standpoint, the cover flap is a neat idea to protect and contain everything, but it just flaps around and is kind of awkward while playing. It will protect your screen while in a backpack or suitcase if you don't have a carrying case already, and if you do, it won't fit. It feels well made, durable, but as with any added battery you get added weight. It does get a bit bulky.Like I said, I have no proof that this case is dangerous to use with your Switch. It works as advertised, I'd just be careful with how you use it. It got to a temp I was uncomfortable continuing usage in fear of damaging the unit. The Switch just isn't designed to have a case of this nature I think. An external battery with a C USB cable would achieve the same thing, but allow the Switch to breathe in the process, and you can do that with this battery as well. It has a USB port on it you can hook up anything to. So you can use it either way, and get those precious extra hours of gaming you need when you're on a long journey. But any external USB battery with the required output and a USB-C type cable will do the same thing without the heat issues.

Broke after couple weeks
I believe mine broke after a couple weeks. Great device loved it while it was working but now it won’t charge the Nintendo Switch when I disconnect it from the charger which defeats its purpose. I don’t quite understand it because it says it has a full charge 4 blue. I disconnect the charger and slide the switch on and it blinks 1 blue led and shuts off like it’s dead and won’t even try to charge no matter how many times I press the power button. But when I disconnect the switch and plug it in 4 blue lights pop up saying full charge.

So far so good.
This case is the best battery case. Not only that but its one the best cases for the switch. Has a screen cover that gives it more screen protection. Pretty beefy though.

Pass
I got this and the product description is a bit misleading. The leather part of the device is not removable and the flap that covers the front of the screen is flimsy and when holding the switch to play it gets in the way as it doesn't fold back very well. I also don't really like how it sits inside it isn't snug and it seems that the USB c port is doing most of the work holding it in place. My final issue with the case is the vents "somehow" are routed from the bottom and into the back of the switch but looking with a flashlight I can't see how that's done. I worry about long term damage using the switch with this and the comfort makes it not worth my time.
