This foot is exactly the same as a rolled hem foot only the width of the seam it creates is an inch wide instead of the very narrow seam created on a rolled hem foot. This makes it better suited to thicker fabrics or medium weight projects that require more endurance. Will fit most low shank domestic models such as Brother, Janome, Toyota - Singer models will not fit the slant needle/shank models but will fit most new straight shank singer models
