2019 British HCA Fairey Doulton Portacamp Gravity water purification filter system

Good communication from seller and very informative on the uses for the Berkafeld. I like this model better than the stainless steel ones as you can see the water level in it. Easy to fit together. No problems with tap leaking as it has two compressible washers either side of tap. The filters were easy to fit. The base holds about 5 litres, so about 16 mugs of tea.You cannot any more water to the top before emptying some from the base as the top just slots on the bottom and this is not a watertight seal, but this is not a problem with having the easy visibility of water levels to see when to add more.Ran two lots of water through it too clear the filters then it was fine, got rid of the chlorine taste out of our tap water.The main use it is going to have is cleaning surface water for drinking when we go out in our caravan after the water has been rough filtered and sterilized with hypochlorite.

Bought this as a gift. They are very pleased with it as previously they had owned a stainless steel one (another brand) this is a lot lighter and they can see the water line. I have also purchased spare filter candles for them for Xmas. Both things arrived promptly and were packaged really well,it came with instructions too. From my point of view I am pleased to be buying British. As I have other family members who camp abroad I may be purchasing another in future.

A very good buy.. I use it for my home a i try not to use much water and i use the water from my water butt.. But it is very slow running but to me that is a good thing bcause it give me time to think what to use it for.. I love it
