I considered going all hi-tech wifi remote Startrek style but this model works a treat and would be a bargain at double the price. I'd give it five for ease of use and if you don't want to change the offered programme it's fine but I get bored following the instructions and endlessly prodding buttons is worse than entering details in a tacho first thing in the morning Review: Smart, well made, does the job - This is the standard straightforward replacement for the controller used in caravan Alde heating systems, which was also a Danfoss , branded as Alde. It does the same job as the earlier version, only better, with more functions, and is easier to programme. It is also still battery powered, so removing these over winter, say, is a must. This new version has given the innards more protection from leaking batteries, which was the cause of the demise of my old one. The thermostat is now more sensitive, and reacts to temperature changes more readily. A quality item, ideal for the caravan, but has capability and other functions for domestic use ## Features - Wired Room Thermostat - 24 hour or 5/2 day programmable room thermostat. - Timeswitch for operating heating systems - Up to 6 events per day - Large easy to read LCD display ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00PYJ966Q | | Backlight | Yes | | Best Sellers Rank | 76,102 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 124 in Home Programmable Thermostats | | Brand | Danfoss | | Brand Name | Danfoss | | Colour | White | | Connectivity Protocol | Wired | | Connectivity Technology | Wi-Fi | | Control Method | Touch | | Control Type | Button Control | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Controller type | Push Button | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 394 Reviews | | Display Type | lcd | | Finish Type | Glossy | | Included Components | Mounting bracket or back plate | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Manufacturer | Danfoss | | Manufacturer Part Number | TP5000Si | | Model Name | TPOne | | Model Number | TPOne | | Model name | TPOne | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number of Batteries | 2 AA batteries required. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Product Style | Modern | | Special Features | Programmable | | Special feature | Programmable | | Specification Met | rx | | Temperature Control Type | programmable | | UPC | 798256204593 772040500719 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Voltage | 240 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Danfoss - **Colour:** White - **Connectivity technology:** Wi-Fi - **Controller type:** Push Button - **Included components:** Mounting bracket or back plate - **Model name:** TPOne - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Special feature:** Programmable - **Temperature Control Type:** programmable - **Voltage:** 240 Volts ## Images ![Danfoss TP5000Si Wired 5/2 Day Programmable Thermostat 087N791000 HARDWIRED NOT RF - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51hCTH12uUL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Old school simplicity *by S***N on 1 February 2022* This was bought to replace a damaged unit, plugged straight into the original back plate and all good. It does the same job as the earlier version, only better, with more functions, and is easier to programme. It is also still battery powered, so removing these over winter, say, is a must. I upgraded to this as I wanted an adjustable holiday setting rather than the 5degrees fixed setting on TP5. Great! We can go away for a weekend and come back Sunday night without too many complaints about the house being cold and the washing not dried.....but still makes a good saving on heating bills when we're not at home. Lots of fancy programming available if you want to switch it on e.g. no. of cycles per hour which might help if you have a boiler short cycling on its own internal thermostat rather than room stat. Half a star short because ......there is no boost facility. Would be nice to have adjustable time/temp facility for when you come back early on a cold day. If you want it to be more sensitive to external temperatures (i.e. more heat loss) then either mount on an external wall or use option with a remote sensor that can be fitted in such a place. Lost another half star as the initial calibration was about 2 degrees lower than previous TP5. I've corrected this fully using the internal +/- 1.5 degree max available correction. But overall seems to be saving me money - the wife was snuggling under a blanket before anyway! ## Frequently Bought Together - Danfoss TP5000Si Wired 5/2 Day Programmable Thermostat 087N791000 HARDWIRED NOT RF - Angle Adaptor 90 Degree for Replacement Radiator | Oventrop | Connection M30 x 1.5 - Oventrop 1011450 Angle Adaptor for Valve HK White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/58358001-danfoss-tp5000si-wired-5-2-day-programmable-thermostat-087n791000-hardwired](https://www.desertcart.be/products/58358001-danfoss-tp5000si-wired-5-2-day-programmable-thermostat-087n791000-hardwired) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
