It works perfectly, if you are looking to retain Touch ID from a broken home button you are out of luck! Do some research and you will quickly find out that the only way to do that is by going through apple. Now if you are running into over heating issues and subsequent battery drainage and don’t need Touch ID then this should be a perfect fit.Tip: take your time and make sure that you place the rubber gasket on the button back side before installing since it has to go under the flex cable. FYI. Good luck and watch some YouTube videos if this your first time.The picture of the button in the bag is the old broken one.

This worked exactly as I expected it to. The fingerprint reader doesn't work nor did I expect it to. The only thing I would have liked to see is some sort of instructions. I guessed correctly on how to put it together and install it but a simple 3 step instruction manual would make this better. I would take half a star off if I could but rounded up. The button fit and looks and feels great. Very happy to not use the virtual home button any longer.

It works but we lost the function of fingerprint ID to unlock. It is ok, use the password instead. It is inexpensive to fix the problem.

AS they said Finger print reader will not work, go to apple if you want that!
