i-Blason Case for Galaxy S9+ Plus 2018 Release, Ares Full-Body Rugged Clear Bumper Case with Built-in Screen Protector (Gold)

So I had the i-Blason (Armor Box Type) case and it was probably one of if not the best case I had ever owned. I think that it was even better than any Otterbox case I have owned. Wasn't to big and bulky and it lasted a long time without any issues. It was white version and after about year and a half of use it was getting pretty dirty looking so I got on to find a new one.That's when I came across this case. Because the brand is the same and the price is great I decided to try this one out. And I am glad I did. I think the overall size on the phone is great and it has a full face screen protector built into the phone. The only issue with my old case is that it didn't have a screen protector built in like this one. Which I did really like not having one because the touch sensitivity is obviously much better without one. In the year and a half I never once cracked my screen or damaged it from dropping it. But I did end up with a few minor scratches in the screen from being in my pocket with keys and whatever else. But back to the new case. The screen protector is nice on this one my only complaint is that the touch sensitivity is reduced a little. I know there is a setting on my phone to probably fix this issue. I just haven't done it yet. Before I had to barely put my finger somewhere and it would hit a button on the screen. Now I have to make sure and press my finger on the phone just a little more than before.Overall I highly recommend this brand of cell phone case in either version. I am a lifer now and I wont use any other cases besides this brand. The price is amazing for the cases that you get. I have told several people about these and after a short time of having one any of them will tell you the same thing. "This case is freaking awesome! I cant believe how great it is! And the prices are awesome" You can buy several of these cases in different colors compared to buying 1 of the big brand names. And you will be much happier with this brand. Plus the price is worth every penny.Fits my phone perfect and I have no complaints about anything on the phone. The screen protector issue that I mentioned above is common anytime you put a protector over the screen. If I would have used this case first over the Armor Box type one then my phone would look like I just took it out of the box new. But my phone still does look almost new besides the minor scratches on the screen. Everywhere the case was on my phone looks brand new once the case is off. And I have dropped my phone probably 30+ times since I bought it in March of 2018.Don't be afraid to buy one of these cases! You wont be disappointed!I would post a picture but my only camera is on my phone and I cant obviously take a picture of my phone and case with my phone. LOLBut trust me the phone looks great and the style is great. I like how the back of the case is clear and you can actually see your phone through part of it. I got the black/grey colored one. My phone is all black. (I think this brand of case is by far the best bang for the buck out there! And possibly the best case period)

As a retired engineer, aviation expert witness, tile setter, jockey, pilot, astronaut, entrepreneur, all around bad ass, plastics manufacturing mogul, and father. I think you can trust me when I say that this case is top notch.I bought a s9+ last week and had been afraid to start using it in fear or scratching such a beautiful device. (Don't get me started on the whole pricing thing. These phones are priced so high to build loyalty. But this is not about that)I searched the vast world wide web for the best phone cases. Like usual the websites all pointed at the big brands. Otterbox, spigen, and others. I have previously been a big fan of the ob (otterbox) defender. I had a defender on my s5 and s7. Its a great case although a bit bulky. I had switched to an OB commuter when I purchased a s7 edge. I didn't like how full clamshell cases worked with the edge screens. I ended up with an ob symmetry with a plastic laminate screech l screen protector on my s7edge and that worked great for the 2+ years that I had it. I had also tried a spigen case OB the s7edge and switched back to the symmetry. I forget which model spigen. It didn't fully wrap the phone, had a hard plastic shell on the back and a soft rubber insert.I ended up finally breaking the screen on the s7 edge about 5 months ago. It fell out of my pocket while riding a bike. Landed screen first and cracked from the side. Partly because the case didn't wrap around and protrude above the screen.Now to the s9 plus. I ordered 6 different cases from Amazon. An otterbox, a few spigen, am unknown brand and this blazen ares. I popped the phones into each one of the cases. Keep in mind that I don't like full clamshell cases. The otterbox cases were all too slippery out of the box. Too much oily residue from manufacturing. The spigens were great for just a half shell case. I tried using it with a tempered glass screen cover. It sucked. The tempered glass didn't fit right over the screen. The touch response wasn't optimal.Finally I wiped down the phone to remove finger prints and busted out the i-blazen ares. First snapping the phone into the rigid screen side bezel. The fit was perfect, it's very secure. I finished by wrapping the backside with the rubber backing. It's such a secure fit. This case is absolutely beautiful. Feels great in the hand, has very good tactile response, and wraps around up higher than the face of the screen.I feel like my phone is protected.Of course there are some cons. Neither of which bother me too much. I think dust will be able to get in to the case via speaker and cameras holes. This would be true with most cases and the fix for me is a thin laminate type screen protector. The second is the difficulty in using the page scroll feature. You know that little slider on the very edge of the screen that allows you to scroll down a long ass webpage or your photo gallery. No big deal for me but maybe a deal breaker for you. This also might mean than some have difficulty with using the edge popup window thing. I have never used it anyway. It does still work though. I just pulled it up on the first try.Anyways. Get this case. It's well worth the $20. I will post pics later.

Whenever my Samsung Galaxy drops, this case has its back! I love this case. I bought it twice. The first one lasts over a year. It also comes with a screen protector!

According to Amazon, I first bought this in November of 2018. I'm buying another one now, four and a half years later.Over these four and a half years, my phone itself is PRISTINE. The case is starting to wear down, so that's why I'm replacing it --specifically because I can feel the power button cover is starting to grow loose and is going to fall off soon. The power cord flap came off through a combination of years of wear and a kitty that had bad habits about what to chew, there's a small divot in the front plastic where something bumped or jabbed into it years ago. For a product I've used for four years, this is an amazingly short list of damage done to this case. And as I mentioned -- absolutely none of that reached my phone itself.Also probably worthy to note that I can be pretty clumsy and have -- among other things -- yeeted this bad boy across an airport terminal while trying to scan the code for my flight. It was fine.And on top of all this -- it's slim and lightweight.Five stars is too low of a rating.
