Decent Collection
I like this album. It includes earlier tracks like 'Sister', 'We Can Get Together', 'Hey, Little Girl', etc.. I don't like some of the over-produced later ones like 'Jimmy Dean' and 'Touch the Fire', but overall this is crisp, catchy pop with interesting lyrics and great hooks.

Great compilation of early Icehouse
The CD arrived in quick order and stated condition. The music shows Icehouse finding and exploring their sounds. Tracks vary from Late Roxy Music 80's Bowie sounding (No Promises) to more Australian tinged pop rock (Great Southern Land) to rock (Jimmy Dean). My next Icehouse purchase will be Man Of Colours.

What a Band.
Oh wow man :) In my honest opinion,Icehouse are one of the best Bands to come out of Australia,The clue of there love for their homeland is in the title of this Enormous album,Iva Davies (lead singer and guitar) Originally chose the name Great Southern Land whilst on a flight home to Australia from Great Britain,He fell asleep on the flight and woke up two hours later only to still be flying over the Great Southern Land,He said he thought to himself,This place is huge :) Anyway this album deserves it's status as one of the most successful albums to come from Icehouse,Originally started out as Flowers,They had to change the band name due to a scottish band who were already called Flowers,Every track on here is written and performed with great pride and expert musical knowledge from the band,Hey little girl is still being performed by the band on a regular basis,The Bassist for Icehouse Steve Morgan is just fantastic and locks in brilliantly as well as doing backing vocals,There are a lot of Oz bands that are mostly brilliant,But for me Icehouse rolls in first with ease,I never though i would get a copy of this again,I am so buzzing that i now have one.

Fantastische Zusammenstellung

Viel Freude damit!
