4 stars only because it is not inside-corner friendly. i tried and tried, but i was baffled by the fact that i couldn't get it to work on an inside-corner. i was pleasantly surprised to find out that some of my interior walls on my house are 51 degrees and not 45! I'm going to order a different one that will work with inside-corners, but keeping this one as well.

I was just looking for a relatively small, stainless steel (& therefore durable) protractor, as useful thing for a maths teacher. The price was right even without the extension, but that turned out to be extremely useful in my physics labs! I know there are fancier things about, but this is perfect!

Works well and gets the job done. Good enough to transfer angles easily. Be careful not to over tighten the screw... measures fairly well, mind you the markings are very small but the straight edge along the angle markings make it very easy to read.
