Inconclusive result
While the test i did was inconclusive so I can't say whether this is accurate or not i cannot give it a 1 star as the concept is really good.and really easy to use with very clear instructions. The kit is perfect for ant of us who are prone tro kidney infections or may suspect them as trying to geta dr's appt can be a long wait. While i thought this was a little expensive for 1 useage this would depend on the severity of your discomfort.I am dissapointed the test proved inconsistent with my sample which could happen to any sample so i really am on the fence about htis.

Excellent kidney testing kit very easy to use.
£9 at time of reviewThis seems to be pretty accurate althought to know whether its positive and negative its quite the opposite. The usual testing kit for negative it shows 1 line but for this you need to have 2lines to know that your negative because 1 line means youre positive. Its easy to use and easy to understand instructions on the back.Hope my review was helpful

Honestly, just go to the doctors if you have health concerns!
Wasn't very impressed with this test kit at all. I work in a hospital laboratory, and I can't get my head around how this test works. It states that one line (i.e. only the control line is visible) is a positive result, while two lines is a negative result - almost every other lateral flow test I've seen would show two lines if it's POSITIVE. I can't understand how an increase in albumin would result in no line showing at all! However, that aside, the interpretation of the results according to the leaflet is very confusing and contradictory. It states that if a result is positive (1 line), you have a higher level of albumin than normal and should consult a physician - fair enough. However, if the result is negative (2 lines), this means that the level is lower than normal, and if symptoms persist, you should consult your physician. So, positive or negative - see your doctor!!I used the test on my mum as she'd recently had tests done at the doctors so I knew what her results should be. It was positive (see attached pic) which meant her albumin levels were high. Guess what her results from the doctor were (tests done in an accredited hospital laboratory)? Yup, not high at all (3 micrograms/ml). Not impressed, don't waste your money. If you have health concerns, see your GP.

Extremely easy to use but, despite waiting ages, no result registered
The media could not be loaded. There's a pipette to collect urine from a clean vessel and you then drop some onto the test result strip. I found it easy to use but then no line indicating result appeared so I'm none the wiser. Maybe I just got a faulty test.
