This was such a great purchase. It just broke after 5 years. The first couple years, I took it inside in the fall. After that, It stayed on the porch in the snow. I had it mounted on the edge of the porch, so it was partially covered by the porch and part in the yard. It was so comfortable. My son loved it (now, he's 14 and he still loves to grab and book and sit there and read). I will be ordering another as we got a lot of use out of it. The hardware I bought is still mounted and in great shape. One of the strings broke....but the hammock is still in decent condition. I might rig something up with the old one and put it under a tree in the back yard and get a little more use out of that one too. When he was little, we both sat in the hammock together. I remember it being rated to 300 lb. The hammocks of my childhood were scratchy or the plastic ones made me sweat....this one is great!

The cotton cord is soft, as advertised. The chair is comfortable, as advertised. The color is exactly what I wanted, and it's a fantastic product, but the speed at which it arrived was absolutely amazing. The product is made in Mexico, and carried via FedEx, and it arrived at my door less than thirty six hours from point of purchase. The hammock was shipped from the seller within four hours of purchase, cleared customs in Miami overnight, and was delivered to Fort Campbell, KY the following afternoon.The hammock chair is really, really, comfortable, with thick cords that don't bite in to exposed skin like a lot of the cheaper hammocks, and at six foot two and two hundred pounds I still have plenty of hammock left when I put my feet up and lean my head back. The spreader bar is generous, and I don't feel trapped on the sides like in a traditional swing chair. The single point loop at the top is perfect since the chair can be spun to face any direction, no matter where my eighteen month old is running and playing in the yard.

Third time buying these I can’t get enough of them! These are soft and beautiful really comfortable and last a lifetime of stored indoors. Pros: relaxing soft and durable Cons: I’m never getting out of this Hammock!UPDATE: these both ripped? This was my third time buying this hammock chair and I’m pretty sad. The hammock seems to shed a lot- the older ones don’t do that. Also the ropes have been snapping regularly. We keep them inside, use them a normal amount, and are normal sized people.

It feels great to order something and be 100% satisfied with it once it arrives.The colors seem a bit off from the photo, as the fabric is more of a tan color, as well as the bar, but I actually think it's an improvement over the photo shown (besides the model, of course).It is a chair that is large enough for a 6' man to have complete extended leg support. However, it is a chair, which means you'll be sitting up. If you want to lay down, then get a regular hammock.When no one is in it, the chair naturally folds up, so it's no thicker than its bar.There is support on the sides, but not too much. You don't feel like you're in a bag or anything.Overall, for $59, it's a great buy.

This is a great escape tool, there is room to lay back with a good book, glass of wine and a little piece of Heaven occurs. Everyone that comes to visit always runs for the hammock, even calms my grandchildren. It appears very sturdy, the only thing wrong with this is I don't get to use it enough.

I adore this hammock. It is so comfortable. I'm small, but my 6' 180 lbs husband loves it also. Our son is 6'2" 160 lbs and also enjoys it. They sit in it and play the guitar or read. It doesn't fit two people at once--well, not two of us! A parent and little child would fit fine. We left our other one out all last winter (and we have real winters here) so had to replace it this spring. This one we will take inside in November (or October). We do leave it out in the rain and whatnot, despite recommendations against doing so. But I like to sit in it in the rain, so there!

I didn't find it supportive enough to be comfortable. Maybe a back cushion would help, but after using it a handful of times, it came untied on one side and fell down while my 55 pound son was sitting in it, the day after the 30 day return period ended. Would not recommend. If anyone wants it, I'll ship it to you half-price! ; ) Will probably leave it on the curb for a college student to take away.

I absolutely love this little hammock seat! It's big enough to stretch back in or sit up straight. Seems to be well made, and has lasted well this summer of very frequent use. I will be sorry to put it away for the winter since i have enjoyed it so much!

We loved this hammock. My kids would sit in it and read their books and just relax. I also love it's natural look, but after a little over a year it turned to shreds. At a $60 price tag I expected to get at least a couple of years out of it........Update: After reading my review the company contacted me and sent a replacement hammock and I'm very impressed. This company stands by their product and I'm so grateful!

I like this hammock much more than the last 2 I had for comfort. The last 2 (one handmade from Columbia, and one by Hammaka) both lasted just over a year. This one seems less durable than either of them, so I think it really needs to come inside when not in use. I like the way you can lean back and stretch your legs out completely or bend your knees, or put your feet on the ground and sit in a normal chair position to chat with people who are sitting in chairs nearby.Be careful of buttons on your clothes, because they will stick through the hammock and tear your clothes or the hammock on your way back up!

I was a little skeptical when I saw the packaging - basically a sack taped around the product. Then I opened it and the worry increased because the ropes are very thin. I thought it would stretch out as soon as I sat in it but happily I was wrong. It has not stretched out in the few weeks I have had it and it is very comfortable. It has more than enough extra room to completely stretch out my legs. The only quibble I have - and its a small one- is that it was tied crooked. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Quick delivery. Perfect under my big mango tree. Stronger than it looks (the woven fiber looks sort of thin, but cradles your body quite well and surprisingly doesn't seem to strain under your weight). I just wish that there was a little guidance on how best to hang it (rope? chain? carabiner?) and the ideal height of the branch, etc.You'll have to look elsewhere for those tips.

I’ve purchased twice and both times it tore within a few weeks. Bummed. Kids love it but it’s not safe w a big hole in it.

I loved this hammock chair that I bought in May. Haven't used very much as we were out of town for a month and now it started to unravel. Don't know if I will be able to fix it. I only weigh 126 so it wasn't my weight.

Love love love this chair! The cotton rope cords are softer than you would think and it is the perfect place to swing confortably around. Can be just a chair, or you can strech it out more to be a lounger to take a nap in. I think everyone should own one. The only bad thing is that you have to find your own way to hang it, because it doesn't come with anything other than the chair.
