Aqua globe plant water system

I love these globes. They are decorative, and save me guesswork in watering plants. My plants now tell me when it's time to top up. Great for when on holiday too as the water in them can last 1-2 weeks, depending on your inside temperature. A great product, which all my plants have and seem to thrive on. I've had no disasters with any dying since I bought them. They neither get waterlogged or dry out. Wonderful!

Bigger than I thought they would be, started using these to stop top watering due to fungus gnats and its worked a charm. I'm terrible for forgetting to water and overwatering so my poor plants get both extremes. These have ensured I no longer torment them.Both globes different colours so I did end up having a favourite, they are quite pretty when caught in the sunlight. Glass is quite fine so best to be gentle with them but definitely becoming a lifesaver to my plants.

...Yes, the ones that work, work really well; sadly, one of the globes came with a stem so thin, it was neigh on impossible to get the water in - as it was the first one out of the pack, I didn't know what to expect and heroically tried to fill it up (I gave up after 20 minutes, endless gallons of wasted water and serious boredom), but to my delight the others (I bought 2 packs) had a much more sensible stem-width, where filling was easy.I was going on holiday the day after they arrived, so I had no option than to use all of them, as there was no time to ask for an exchange.My plants survived my 2 week absence without a scratch, and although the one I'd given the half-full thin-stemmed globe to did survive (just!), the water level in that globe was still the same when I returned!! - Happily it had been raining.In fact, that globe is still at the same water level 1 month after I filled it, proving it neither fills well nor does it give up its hard-earned watery goodness to the plants!All in all, I'd say these are a great invention and I thoroughly recommend these, just make sure they fill easily and if they don't, ask for a replacement.

i bought these for a xmas present and despite being glass they arrived in one piece, which is a good start. They are very pretty and look very nice but I think the water comes out too quickly to really do the job well.

These look lovely and save worrying about watering for weeks. I will buy more as I think they will make great gifts.

My plants are still alive!!! These are genius!! Make sure the soil is wet when you first put them in, also use a thin skewer to poke the soil through when you come to re fill them and they work a treat! :)

Put these Aqua globe's in with my large indoor plants to test before i go away. They seem to work as i have not watered my plants for 3 weeks.At the moment my plants are not taking much water due to winter months, but i would expect this to be different when plants need much more water from the globe in the summer months.

I purchased this item as a gift but I did open it to check it was ok. It was well packaged in a moulded polystyrene box so arrived safely. The glass globes are a good size and beautifully decorated. I cannot say if they are helpful with watering but they would look lovely in a plant pot.
