How they managed to keep the details while maintaining the reader's focus on the big picture is really outstanding. As a Go Review book, you couldn't ask for more.

Wonderful teaching tool
Wonderful teaching tool. The book provides sophisticated but comprehensible analyses of the subject games. I am relatively new to Go, but believe that the materials would be useful to a broad range of skill sets.

SGF game records missing
I like following the book using the game digital files (digital records). Unfortunately, these are not available even though the book states on page 6 in the "How to Study Profesional Games" that they are. A URL is provided to the downloadable files, but the page has not got them. I have contacted Go Game Guru and hope this can be rectified. Love the book but the promise of game records is not kept.

Book arrived in excellent condition - the size of the book is massive!
Very impressive book and has a lot of details with very clear print. Would recommend to anyone who wants to read a good Go book.

Great book! Get the hardcover version though
It’s a great book and you learn a lot by replaying the games! There are loads of diagrams so you don’t always need to have a physical board (even though it is recommended). The only regret I have is not getting the hardcover version as the book is huge and difficult to handle!
