Technically, UV lights are radiation – it is a lower frequency wavelength than X-rays. So don’t shine these lights directly into your eyes!

LIght works well underwater
Took the light to 150ft on 3 separate dives in saltwater, the light worked well. I applied silicone to the O-rings on the battery install side and flashlight as directed. The magnetic switch was a little sticky at first but seems to slide now that it is broken in.Light was very bright to illuminate the bioluminous coral.Take batteries out after use so they don't drain. Batteries lasted for hours.

Put new, just charged batteries into the flashlight, guess what it didn't do.... Yep, turn on.Leave on a six week dive trip in just a few days; between the cost of the light, the batteries, and a charger, there went about $80 down the toilet.

Great product
This dive light works great. It is lighter than I thought it would be and has really added a cool new aspect to night diving. All my dive buddies want one now. Great new dive toy for a great price.

Worked for 10 minutes@ 40'salt water
Then didn't work , used on night dive , no flooding in any compartment , possible bad reed switch inside that magnet on outside activates

Did not work. No light with two different sets of new batteries. Even tried reversing batteries just for fun. Still didn't work.
