Great Colors, Clever Packaging
I bought these chalks for a music festival, and I was very pleased with my purchase. When I used the chalks, most of the colors were vibrant on my light brown hair with the exception of one or two colors. My favorite part about these chalks was the packaging. Each chalk is designed like a compact where one side is a sponge-like material and the other side holds the chalk. When you slide your hair through the compact it allows you to apply the chalk mess free. In the past when I've used the chalk sticks I've made a mess of my hands and clothes during application, this method was much better.

I love this product
I love this product. My family is all dark haired. It was so easy to use on my neices' hair. My only recommendation is not to use the sponge part. I held the color side only and rub it directly in the hair. The colors stayed all day and it was easy to wash.

Bright colors, but lack in ease of use.
The colors are bright and show up well, but the compacts are difficult to use and break hair. I purchased these hair chalks for my daughter to use for Halloween, and to use on occasion for dress up fun. The hair chalk comes in a small plastic compact. One side holds a makeup sponge and the other a metal tray that holds the chalk. You have to pinch to compact tight in order to use the product. If you pinch too tight it clasps shut and won't slide over the hair, it also causes too much friction on the metal against hair which causes breakage. If you don't pinch enough, the color doesn't transfer to the hair. The chalk is soft, which helped transfer to my child's hair, but it also created a large mess and coated our bathroom floor. We have used our nieces similar product from a different maker in the past, these do not compare to the ease of use of the alternate product. I would not purchase again.

Great lipstick
I was a little unsure how this lipstick would be with its low price tag, so I was extremely surprised how beautifully package the lipstick came. The color is on point and goes on very smoothly. Definitely would buy again in different shades!

Very cute
Unfortunately when i recieved this product some of the plastic around the pods were cracked. No problem though i just popped chalk and sponge out and pressed down with the hair between my finger and the sponge. The color came out a nice pastel. The company took it upon themselfs to reach out to me and offer a new product or refun and were quick in response.

Very cheaply made
The first time I used it, the compact fell apart. I chose another color and the same thing happened. This is a cheaply made product! I contacted the company and they said they would give me a refund if I returned the product - to CHINA, at my cost! I told them that I felt that I should not have to pay to return a defective product. They replied that I did not have to return it, and did give me a refund.

Easy and fun
This product is so cute and fun, I bought it for my parties, to apply on the kids hair at a beauty bar, it's so easy that the kids can even do it themselves if old enough. You just position the compact over the hair, close it on the hair and drag it. The colors are fun and vibrent and best of all they are not permanent. The shiping was really fast too, I would recommend it to anyone with tweens or teens who are looking for a non drastic way to change up their look

save your money
I knew these would be junky but I went ahead and ordered anyway for my niece to play with. The box came crushed and one of the chalks was also broken when I opened it. Chalk got EVERYWHERE in my bathroom. be careful when pulling these through your hair, it will pull your hair out, the best thing to do is hold your hair against the chalk side and pull down. In all honestly you can probable get the same effect by using regular damp sidewalk chalk.
