Q: What is it secured with? Screws? Adhesive?

It has a screw clamp attached to padded L-brackets that rest on top of desk and then you turn the padded screw which will fasten to bottom of desk. Then you tie the rope through slotted holder which is affixed to the bottom of each clamp where it hangs attached on each side.

Q: What length desk will this work with? I have a fairly long desk at work and want to make sure this will fit.

It extends to a good distance. I use to have the largest size IKEA stand up desk and it fit that with plenty more length to be had. In my opinion it is worth it.

Q: Would this work on a standard dining room table?

I don't see why not as long as it's not deeper or thicker than the holders/hangers

Q: my cubicle desk is against the wall with just a small space between. will I be able to attach the clamp? how much clearance is needed?

I have a similar set up where I have cube walls as well. I was able to get just enough room betweem the wall and my desk to get the clamp on. Maybe an inch ?
