Cat Window Perch Bed Sheepskin NO Tools up to 25 lbs by Lazypet

This is easy to set up with no tools as long as you have a window sill with at least a few inches of depth. I put up several in different windows of the house and they are my cat's favorite perches, allowing him to snooze and see all the activity outside simultaneously. One of them has damaged the wall a bit - the metal bars that balance the weight against the wall dug in a bit. After months/years of use the foam does compress and the perch feels harder but my cat doesn't seem to care.

This didn't seem like it could be sturdy, but once it was up, it was strong enough for our 13 pound cat. Unfortunately, the window that it fit wasn't the window that our cat wanted to sit in. However, the package very sweetly included a fuzzy pink cat toy and our cat has never loved a toy as much as this. So, we are fans of how thoughtful this package was. His love of the toy is kinda worth the whole thing.

The perch is just the right size for a full grown cat however; the fastening tape is not wide enough and too close to the edge of the fabric on the bottom to give a good grip on the surface. Had to mount the perch to the window sill with screws in order to get it too hold. Don't buy unless you are willing to fasten with screws, otherwise it will not hold.

I was a bit disappointed with this. It has a strip of velcro which you tape to the window. Otherwise, this is about the same quality as most others out there. egg crate foam pad under a fleece cover. It is tool free, you use wingnuts to secure the rests onto the board.

I purchased this for our two cats they absolutely love it. They lay on it all day looking outside the window. My did smell kind of weird when it arrived but now its fine. We ended having to screw it into the window sill. The adhesive tape with it wasn't enough.

The Velcro stuck fine to my windowsill, but peeled off of the perch itself. I finally just put a nail through it and once the cat trusted it again, she loves it. She lounges there while I work in my office. Glad I purchased it.

The one piece strip did not hold. Fell off the window. We had to drill one screw to keep it from falling. Obviously the "no tools required" did not apply to us.

I would have given these perches 5 stars, however, they keep falling off the window sills. The velcro strips are only 1" wide and are not sturdy enough. I had to purchase 2" heavy duty velcro to hold them properly.
