Pill Pockets-Good! Amazon Shipping Practice-Bad!
Don't buy this product from Amazon. These pill pockets are very soft and fragile, yet Amazon refuses to pack these properly for shipping. Twice they shipped the pill pockets in a box with heavy items inside that smashed nearly half of the pill pockets. Most recently the pill pockets were shipped in an envelope. In an envelope!!! In one of the pill pocket packages, nearly one third of the pill pockets were smashed into an unusable product. In the 2nd package of pill pockets that we just opened more than half of the pill pockets were flattened into little pancakes. All attempts to alert Amazon in order to correct their problem have fallen on deaf ears. The likely cause for this problem is that Amazon forces its employees to work so fast (or lose their jobs) that they are not able to spend the time to properly package the pill pockets for shipping. Apparently Amazon simply does not care. Again, the pill pockets are great, just get them somewhere other than Amazon. You'll thank me later.

Works for my needs
We have to give my cat medications 2 times a day for her heart condition. 2 of the medications she gets are human pills cut into quarters, so very bitter with sharp edges. I put the pills in these to make them easier to get down. She stopped eating them long ago (can't trick her anymore) but they still work well for how we use them. That is, to round out the edges and keep the bitter taste from touching her tongue (which leads to spitting of the pill and profuse drooling, while running away). I don't use a whole pocket since the pills aren't that big. As long as you keep the bag zipped, they're very pliable and you can pinch of a bit and use that and put the rest back in the bag. Then the leftover bits left in the bottom can be formed together so none go to waste. If you're looking to trick a cat into eating the pill with the pocket in it, you may not have much luck. Most likely, either they won't eat it, or will eat it but spit out the pill. But you're welcome to try ;)

Look carefully at picture of packaging!
I screwed up and bought the wrong ones! Didn't even see feline written on the package. My dogs don't seem to mind...well they haven't turned their noses up at them. They are much smaller than the "dog" ones I had before, but they would work well for small tablets. Unfortunately they are too small to get four drops of rescue remedy inside which is the reason I bought them. The big ones can hold the liquid and I can pinch the top closed, and end up with what would be like liquid-filled candy.

Worth every penny, saves your and your cats' sanity
These pill pockets have saved me major aggravation. I wish I had known about them years ago. It was always torture to give pills to my cats, I would age a year every time I had to give one. These are amazing! I break them up into smaller pieces, and cut the pills into halves or quarters depending on their size. Then I wrap each piece of pill with the little piece of pocket till it's totally covered. They have to be small enough so that the cat (or dog) won't bite them but will swallow them whole. I set the little balls down and my cat eats them up willingly! I use them for both my cat and my dog and they both love the taste. It's now so easy to get them to take pills when they need to.

These really work!
These make giving my cat his medicine easy! If you have ever had to get a pill down a cat using one of the "pet piller" tools you will really appreciate the pill pockets. If you leave the bag open and they dry out, just put a drip of water on the pill pocket and microwave it for a few seconds (9 seconds works with my 1100 watt microwave). They soften right up.

itsy bitsy
You have to be using some really small pills for these to work; they are itsy bitsy pockets. I actually use them for my dog because the dog pockets are so much more money and her pill fits fine in the cat pockets. I have had many bags that have been dry and crumbling when opened and other pockets that easily mold around her pill. You never know what you are going to get. Typically, my dog gobbles these up though, so I do recommend them as a way to deliver medication. If you can get away with the cat pockets, you will save yourself some cash.

Love product but not this package
I have ordered other sizes of these & been really pleased with them, but this time they arrived crushed, stuck together & generally a mess. I am able to use some by mashing them around the pill but will not be ordering this package again. The capsule kind came in much better shape. The pills I use them for are bitter & my dog doesn’t like to take them. But will happily take them wrapped in these.

Perfect for administering daily meds for my little Chihuahua
Perfect for administering daily meds for my little Chihuahua. My dog comes running when he hears the pill bottle open. He has no idea he is even taking meds with them hiding in these pill pockets. The pill pockets are very soft and malleable so it forms nicely around pill. I like to get these cat size for my Chihuahua because his pills are sooooo small. I use the Pill Pockets for Dogs for our other dogs. Perfect size for their pills. https://www.amazon.com/GREENIES-POCKETS-15-8-oz-60-count-vet-recommended/dp/B00HQM0UMS/ref=sr_1_4?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1516901762&sr=1-4&keywords=pill+pockets+for+dogs

Easy and it Works
I can't personally attest to the flavor but my cat seeks it out of the rest of the food in her dish. Yes, I put a loaded pill in the middle and make sure it is easy to find. She does find and eat it first every time the bowl is put in front of her. It may be a bit pricey for the number of pieces in the bag. It is remarkably easy to use, as the hole is already in the small pieces of treats/pills. They are soft and all I have to do is roll them into a ball to seal the hole containing her pill and they are ready to go. Highly recommended!

Saved my cat a lot of stress
My new kitten needed to get an antibiotic and she’s very skittish. I’ve had varying success with these in the past, so I got some overnighted. She loved them and made it much easier A tip for those who are struggling—try different flavors and using tweezers to put the pill in the pocket so no part of the fingers holding the pocket or the pocket gets contaminated. It feels silly to do it, but it works. She took the pill every time, except for when I got lazy and accidentally touched the outside surface of the pocket with the pill hand. She wouldn’t touch it.

Rubbery mess
My cat had to take very bitter pills so I thought this would be great since he loves treats. No. He spat it out. I tried putting it with a regular treat and he slobbered all over it and spat it out. They just became a rubbery gooey mess. I think it's the texture. They are like kids fruit snacks in texture. You can try it, but I ended up throwing the bag away. Ended up getting a pill popper.

I've been using these for years with my cat- they are a lifesaver
I don't know what I would do without these. I have to give my grumpy old cat a pill every day. The pills are small, so I only use about 1/3 of a pill pocket each time. I just use my fingers to wrap it around the pill, hold my cat's mouth open, drop it in the back of his throat, hold his mouth shut and stroke his neck. It took us a while to get this process down, but once we did it was smooth sailing (until someone else has to do it).

PERFECT for cats who have to take pills
We are old hands at giving medications to cats. We had one who was on thyroid meds, and the cheese ball method worked great for him. However, our boy on Lasix (tiny pills still) has figured out how to eat the cheese and spit out the pill. OY. These treats are GREAT. He loves them, and just chomps it down. I think it's stickier than the cheese was, so it works much better. They're a little pricy in stores, but worth every danged penny.

Too small for capsules even though it says capsules or tablets.
I have a German Shepherd that receives four caplets of Loratidine daily at one time. I was purchasing the pockets that stated they were for capsules. I saw this one for tablets or capsules and it was cheaper. I can barely fit one small caplet in one of these pockets. I end of mushing together about four or five of them to put my four caplets in. Not a savings for me. If you have a tiny pill that you need to give your pet, these would be OK I guess.

Depends on the cat
I doubted whether or not these would work. I have four cats and three of the four will take these easily. One even really likes them...medicine and all and he was the hardest one for me to dose previously, so these pill pockets are worth it for me. One cat won't take medicine at all and I have to swaddle her and force feed, so know your own pets, but this product is a great buy for the ones of mine who will take it.
