We always purchased the plastic IKEA shoe horns and loved how useful they are. We're really spoiled putting on our shoes that way. The plastic ones inevitably break pretty frequently, so I finally looked for a metal one. This one is so sturdy and heavy. I see it lasting a long time. I love that it comes with a travel horn as well so we can still be spoiled on vacation :)
