Battery Disconnect Safety Kill Switch 130AH - with Pull Out PIN

I bought this for my kayak trolling motor. This is a heavy duty massive kill switch! But it looks good, feels good, and exactly what I was looking for and needed. Other switches needs to tie into a relay. This one is a power wire disruptor so you only need to splice into your power/hot wire. Works great! I was concern if water was a conductor of electricity but did the test and dipped it in water and the trolling motor did not run. Perfect!

Perfect for my kayak!! Awesome seller and product.! I had a question about shipping it was answered within the hour and it was late when I was looking at it expecting an answer the next day! Product seems sturdy and simplistic too! Two connections in and out also comes with hardware for mounting which I’m gonna beef up just cuz I do that to everything on my kayak. Also comes with template for cutting and wire diagram so super simple. Showed up in 3 days not the long wait Amazon had it at which was almost 1-2 weeks out which what my question was about. So in all seems sturdy, well made and easy to install. I’ll update with pictures of it and test of the kill function.

Great quality. Easy install. Ideally it would have been better if you only had to drill for the posts instead of the housing as well, but I mounted mine on the battery box lid. Came in handy when my Xi3 lost GPS signal while on heading lock and had to do a reset. A safety must have for any watercraft using an electric propulsion device.

Installed in Pelican Catch Pwr 100 to kill power to the trolling motor if I were to fall out of the kayak. 4 stars because (1) price, (2) Pin is very tight, concerned it wont pull out if I fall into the water, and (3) cannot purchase extra pins. For the latter, plan on buying a second if you lose the pin.

Using this switch for my trolling motor, work out perfect.
