The unit these go to are not as good as an air purifier that uses (sea) salt water to kill bacteria; however, the filter is more affordable. Having pulled this filter out after some use, I can tell you by looking at it that it was definitely pulling some contaminants out of the air. These are reasonably priced; they last 3-6 months (depending on usage) but are priced the same as a central unit's filter that you have to replace more often. I will continue using these without a doubt.

Got these as a replacement filter instead of the name brand ones that are double the price for one unit. They seem to work well but they leave my machine with its indicator light still on. That means you'll have to watch for it to be too dirty and be replaced vs the machine doing it for you. So not 100% compatible but works.

These last a while and are the perfect replacement to my dirty filter. Price is great and keeps us healthy!
