CTS 18" Steel Target Stand

Works and quite sturdy. I've used these stands and others for about 1.5 years. Generally, I use these in a field/woods that is rather rocky and offers hills that present shooting at 45 degree angles. The two support rods make it easy to insert and angle the mount so the targets are perpendicular and level to the shooter. The only slight issue is when you have targets wider than 18". This doesn't become a problem unless you are trying to shoot the edges of the targets; e.g., with large cardboard multi-target backers. The option would be CTK target holders that use the same type 1x2 setup but with legs. Tent pegs work great in securing these in the field. Amazon offers these holders. The size of the target is only limited by the width and height of the 1x2. These holders do not twist in the wind like some I've seen on ranges.

Poorly designed, can’t easily step on the bar to put it in the ground, take off the loop. Also offer a 24 inch wide version......

This target stand is solid with good welds and has good weight to it. I am happy with the quality and have used them about 5 times already. Uses 1X2 inch planks. This is a good, well made target stand.

I was afraid these would be cheaply constructed with thin metal and low quality welds and paint. NOT! These are very nice quality! They aren't inexpensive but the quality is there so you get what you pay for.
