Bug Buster Kit - Detection and Removal of Head Lice | Wet Combing is The only Method Recommended by The NHS.

My daughter has extremely thick, wavy, waist length hair. Unfortunately lice seem to love her (her sister with short, fine, straight hair never seems to get them). I’m generally pretty good at detection combing but there have been a couple of times when I’ve lapsed and she’s ended up with an infestation. I’ve tried nitty gritty, nitnot, and various cheaper alternatives. Nothing lifted the lice out as effectively as these combs. Yes, it takes ages and you have to follow the instructions to the letter, but this system will work and is chemical free. The instructions are very clear, telling you when and how to comb. Read carefully and follow them to the letter. It takes several sessions but if you are diligent you will clear them and the plastic combs are much gentler than the metal ones. Good luck!!

Spent a lot of money on Head Lice medicines and useless combs that came with them, before I found these. Get them direct from Community Hygiene Concern. These combs are a far superior design. Use the detangling, wide toothed comb to comb through with conditioner on the hair. The combs have written on them which side to have against the scalp, and they slip under the eggs and bugs, and lift them out, as you comb through. Clean the combs with water and a nail brush after each stroke. Rinse off, and comb through again for any you may have missed. Follow the advice in the leaflet, of repeating this over 2 weeks, (leave 3 clear days between each session).We combined the above with using Lyclear Crème Rinse with Permethhrin during the 2 week period. CHC also have a very supportive help line. Am confident of dealing with Head Lice if they ever return.

A handy set of combs to comb out the little critters. Just apply conditioner and comb out over the sink. No toxic chemicals.

If you're looking at these wondering if they're worth the money, then YES yes they bloody are, they will save your sanity and de-bug you from the hell that is nits. For the past week I've used Hedryl, Vamoosh and Full Marks. I found eggs, but no nits. My head was itching so bad I got up at 2am one day, but couldn't find anything. You start to wonder if you're going mad. Then today these arrived and within minutes it had plucked out a good handful of nits and eggs. Admittedly, my head is red raw from the scraping, but boy do they work. They are the only product i have confidence in, cannot recommend enough. Also, the combs are in bright colours so you can see the bugs - good idea.

this is my second set of combs - the first ones lasted me 5 years. they are really effective at getting head lice and nits out of hair and provided you use a proper big comb first to get rid of knots and tangles, they don't break (the new packs now give you a big comb to use first). Because of the colour, you can actually see the lice as you get them out - very satisfying!! If you follow the instructions on the pack - combing every 3rd day, you will find your child is lice free very quickly. possibly a good idea to buy their best friends mum a set too - that way you don't keep getting them back...!!a great big thumbs up from me - so much better than the metal nit combs, which I find useless.5*+

Not effective at all. Missed most of the nits - picked up maybe one in ten. Had to go through and pull them out by hand. Waste of money

Es sind einfach nur Plastikkämme, aus meiner Sicht nicht besser als die Lauskämme die bei den Lausmittel dabei sind. Leider kann man das Paket nicht zurückschicken, was ich vorher nicht wußte. Bin echt sauer...

Ce kit anti poux est super. c'est le seul peigne efficace qui vient à bout des poux sans utiliser des produits chimiques inefficace. je recommande plus plus cet article.
