FIRE HAZARD!
Unfortunately I cannot give lower than a 1 star rating. Have a light that cannot have an switch to it so when I saw this option I was very happy. After install, I was no longer happy. My light fixture required ceiling fan bulbs so I installed those, then one stopped working. The bulb was not screwed in all the way, so screwed it in and both were working. I ordered LED bulbs and went to replace them yesterday. I noticed the existing bulbs were crooked for some reason; upon further inspection I found the LoraTaps to be completely melted! The light fixture had only been turned on for a total of 20 mins. I am lucky it was not for longer; otherwise there might have been a much different outcome. Stay away from this product, it cannot be trusted!

Remotes solved a 10-year problem
I'm very, very happy with the remote controls for the nine overhead light fixtures in and outside my porch. The fixtures had been oddly matched to three switches spaced all around the porch. The two lights nearest the entrance to the house were on two different switches that required walking back in the dark after turning them off. One switch controlled both an inside ceiling light and the motion detector light outside, meaning the inside light had to be on all the time so the motion detector could work. Frustrating, dangerous, and energy wasting. The hardest parts of the process were climbing up and down the ladder, and figuring out which switches controlled which fixtures. Installation of the remotes themselves could not have been any easier! Just screwed in the base, screwed in the bulb, and pushed the "ON" button on the remote puck. No programming required, though there are clear instructions how to change the programming if required. The switches are all over my large porch, but now I have control of all the lights from the narrow cutting board I placed them on. (See pics ... I put a regular pen on the board to show size) If desired, I can pop the puck off its magnetic base to take it elsewhere, but most of the time the board hangs near the steps leading up to the house. All three of the fixture switches are flipped on and the remotes control everything. The remote controls fixed a 10-year problem and frustration caused by some installer's idea of how to match fixtures to switches. (I often wonder how many beers were involved.)

Hopefully the Manufacturer will PAY ATTENTION...
Sadly, these did not last. I purchased in September 2018 and the units lasted until mid December. They failed about one week apart, which is very interesting because they had a completely different number of hours on/off.The good news is that neither unit showed any signs or smells of shorting or burning and there was no indication of either unit melting or catching fire. I suspect there is a resistor failing or burning out.I will order these again despite the cost because I am hoping the manufacturer will fix whatever the problem is and start selling a more reliable product. Until then, however, the flaw in design warrants a single star.Check out my pics of the innards of this product!Live well. Be well. Cheers!

Very pleasant surprise
Full five stars - it works a little *better* than expected (it does something the failed dewenwils system didn't - remembers its previous state when power is resupplied). It also looks quite nice, is easy to 'install,' and works out of the box. One item for the wish list - that the magnetic feature holding it to a wall-mounted back was a bit stronger. (edit: magnets are a clever idea, but they have polarity - return this to the cradle rotated 90 degrees and it will be pushed away, and likely onto the floor. The symmetrical design makes it hard in low light to be sure of the orientation.)

So good a MoFo stole it!
I bought a pair and was really happy with the purchase. I had one in a lamp just inside my front door and in the outside lamp. I loved it! My parking lot is behind my apartment and I have to walk thru a tunnel in the building to get to my walkway. I could turn on the lights from my car and the lights would be on when I got to my door! ...till the day some jerk stole the socket and bulb from my outside light!!! Idiot. Not much good without the remote, Toad! (Honestly, I had a few days of nervousness because I was afraid whoever might come after me for the remote. But all good.) If they will sell just a socket, I will buy another!

Review
Pack of two, I couldnt always get the light to switch on one, meanwhile the second one would never work. Remote didnt consistently work even though I'm within 10 ft of 2 lights. I wanted this to not have to use pull string in the basement. I bought them a while back and did not get them to work after reading istructions over and over to see if I'm missing something. Just tried it again today, still doesnt work. Breaking them apart to recycle.

Excellent remote switch
These are the only type of these that I've tried which consistently work--other switches in this space work inconsistently. These switches and sockets can be paired manually, so you can control multiple sockets with a single switch or multiple switches can control the same socket.Repairing my sockets was easy (so I could control both from a single switch), and they lights turn on and off consistently with a single attempt. The only nit is that the switch only has an adhesive backing rather than screws to attach it to the wall. It also magnetic, however, so I screwed a plate into the wall and then relied on that to attach the switch to the wall.

Wonderful-beat my expectations
I was so satisfied with this product. I have just installed it. I was happily surprised to find the on-off switch was very small. I took a picture next to my hand so you could see the size.It works well. Be sure to use only led lights. I noticed a review showed melting. I wonder if it was because they used a bulb that produced heat like incandescent bulbs, which the instructions states not to use.
