The kit we provided is high quality so that it can be used for a long time and is perfect for sawing. 3/4'' x 3/8'' UHMW bar is the often used material in crosscut sled runners which fits most table saw and will not expand under sudden temperature changes as well as slick enough to slide smoothly. And moreover, the UHMW bars and aluminum t track can be trimmed to your desired length. The stop box can slide along the sub-fence the whole length of either track. This sled kit was the right price to provide the inspiration to finally build a sled. Good quality parts. Comes with instructions for a basic sled with a 1/2 in base. I went 3/4 MDF for future routed t-track additions.

T track doesn’t match up with 3/8” accessories like a stop block. There is some play in the plastic track, I added some slick tape to reduce the slop.
