UPDATE 2/2021:Going on three years in the Central Texas climate and the lock is showing signs of rust and pitting. We keep it lubricated and it still works well. We don’t get a lot of rain and the gate is in a sunny area. If the lock was outdoors in a more humid and/or shady area it would probably not look this good.———————Works great on our back gate. Easy to open.

Works perfectly to lock my side gate. The metal clasp is long enough and thin enough to fit through the latch on the gate without it being too flimsy. Serves its purpose perfectly.

We have been using this lock at least twice a day outside for the last month and a half and so far so good. for the money its a great light duty lock

LOCK IS GOOD BUT NOT PERFECT. HARD TO OPEN AND CLOSE AT TIMES

Easy to set up and use will keep for a long time.
