this is an excellent product. exceptional quality machined impeller
this is an excellent product. exceptional quality machined impeller. perfect fit on my 2003 BMW 530i. it has been on the car now for over 1000 miles and working great. expensive but having a cheap water pump fail will toast your BMW engine. not worth it. the factory pump had a composite impeller that was still in excellent shape after 68000 miles but i had a radiator side tank split and so i did a complete cooling system rebuild. Look at the ECS CNC machined pulleys for this pump also, excellent quality and they run true / spin straight - not like those cheap cast URO ones. ECS also makes an aluminum power steering pump pulley to match - excellent quality parts.

I hope this is as good as it's reputation. It certainly is well made and finished. The car seems to run smoother since I've installed it but that could also be the fact that I swapped the mechanical clutch fan for an electric.

Fit perfectly in the front of my M54B30 block, needed to "man-handle" it in as the seal is tight, but that is a good thing on a high pressure system such as this. 2004 330ci.

Premature failure is common. Mine failed at 34,000 miles. The BMW forums describe other instances of this.
The media could not be loaded. Failed after 34,000 miles and three years of freeway driving. The design looks good. The castings seem solid. The main bearing did not last long at all. Seal failure was total.
