"Laquer" is a thin coat of white paint, over a rough, unsanded wooden box
The box itself is about what you would expect and Im happy with it. The white paint however is very poorly executed, very thin (shows all the knots and imperfections). There was no primer.. and frankly no laquer.... The texture is rough. minimal sanding was done this.As a result I'm going to have to sand and re-paint this myself.
