What was all the fuss about?
Some people gave 1 or 2 stars because they couldn't separate the tape from the backing. Either they got a faulty example or they must find manual dexterity particularly challenging. I am not especially skilled with my hands, but separating the tape from the backing was EASY right from the start. Applying it to damaged and even loose pages was also EASY. It just works. FIVE stars.

Incredable
Very thin so fine you cannot see it when applied to torn pages or for strengthening creases, it is none reflective so almost invisible. Takes a bit of practice to apply and line the tear but well worth the effort. As for yellowing I have to take their word, but I do know this tape is used in book renovation by the skilled people.

recommended by someone a lot cleverer than me!
This apparently is THE cellotape to use! But, it is the world's most difficult tape to dispense. I have watched it being done on YouTube, where it is made to look very simple, but trust me, for mere mortals it just doesn't seem to work. Maybe it's me, but trying to get the intial separation between the 2 halves is impossible. I am on the point of throwing it away.

A bit tricky to use
the dispenser didn't work properly and the adhesive film therefore hard to separate from the backing. But once it did so, it worked a treat.
