love these!
I love these and use them as everyday shoes. I've tried a few zero-drop shoes and keep coming back to this brand. the black on black is subtle enough to get away with wearing while slightly dressed up as well. I was a big fan of the earlier vapors but then Merrell went and started making them too skinny with high arches and they just were not comfortable. I'm so glad to see they listened to their customers and went back to a slightly wider shoe. I wear these year round, and they're holding up well. Grip in dry and wet weather is great. Breathability as well. Do know that due to the perforated fabric on top if you step in a deep enough puddle or snow, your feet WILL get wet.

My gym weight/interval workout shoes
I would have never thought of getting these, always preferring sneakers with lots of support for my aging feet, but the new trainer we hired suggested that we use these to better isolate our body movements for stability during training instead of relying on our shoes to provide that stability for us. We have been using these for the last 4 months, and I have to say that he was right. Things are a little more difficult, but you get to use muscles you wouldn't normally, and paying lots of attention to your joints, to keep stable while doing weights while standing up or lunging or in any other stance where you are not sitting or lying.

These are great
I used to wear the five toe shoes years ago and loved everything about accept taking them on and off. These give me a very similar experience without all the hassle. If you’re new to barefoot shoes, the first week is going to suck, let your body adjust to them for a week and you’ll never want to wear anything else.

Merrell takes it into the comfort zone with these!
These are the best barefoot shoes I've owned in the last 2 years! Mesh on shoes so they breathe is not new but Merrell takes it into the comfort zone with these. Because they are all mesh above the soles, they conform to the shape of your foot on the bottom with the flexible sole to the top where the mesh is better than any shoe except sock shoes. I bought 2 pairs and like them both-the olive green and the black!

Sizing the shoe down
Shoes seem great but you’ll need to order a whole size down, since they run big.

Excellent Minimalist/Barefoot Shoe
A true minimalist/barefoot shoe. They are true to size, super light, and very comfortable. The Vibram sole IMO makes this shoe. I’ve tried other brands and found them to be stiff or a little on the heavy side. Not these! I would definitely buy another pair.

the best shoes ever made?!
by far my favorite pair of shoes i have ever owned. i wish they had a steel toed variety for work, so i could wear them all day every day! i have had several different versions from other brands of the faux toe shoes, and these are just leaps and bounds ahead of them in durability and they look much better. never had a more comfortable shoe. i live in florida, so cold temperatures are not a problem but I'd imagine they're not suitable for most winters.

Narrow, Nonflexible Toe Box
I'll preface this with, these are much better than normal shoes because of the zero drop. They are okay, the sole is a bit too thick, and there isn't much flexibility at the toe box. My biggest issue with these shoes is the toe box is too narrow, when I got them I went for a short two mile run and could feel my big toes being compressed by the sides of the shoes almost immediately. Just buy Vibram five fingers instead, they are significantly more comfortable, wider toe box and have a flexible toe box.
