Fantastic Publication
The media could not be loaded. The book is a very informative piece. Rare photos. Unfortunately the trend nowdays is color plates, to see the vehicles at their more robust selves.

Anderson Does Good Work
Anderson details the evolution of these weapons from their creation as a mechanized version of the Escort Artillery developed to accompany the Stormtroopers of WWI into the Panzerjaegers needed in WWII. Exhaustive research and detail; lavishly illustrated on slick, high quality paper. A picture on almost every page from Anderson's private collection. Fills a void; glad this one's on my shelves.

A Thomas Anderson book
A very good unit-by-unit history of German Assault Guns. Good photo selection.

The chronology of the vehicle's development and production is confusing and is incorrect in several points. The photos are poorly arranged and and the captions are repetitive. A number of later upgrades are not shown well even after the text stresses how their early absence was found to be critical such as the co-axle MG. Some new photos but overall, not up to Anderson previous works.
