This little stand is really cool. I use it for my cell phone, my tablet, and even the tiny digital recorder which I use to record board meetings for my alumni association. (Somebody talked me into being secretary. How do you take notes for minutes? Hence, the recorder for me to verify what I scribble in my notes!) It holds its position, it looks cute, and it's very lightweight and compact. It will hold everything from this tiny recorder to a big tablet securely. You'll like it. I even bought one for a friend who had surgery and was having difficulty holding her device to read library books on her Kindle.

Bought 2 of these for the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablets for my grandkids. These tablets come with thick cases so finding a stand that would work was not easy. I ordered one black and one purple, and I was very pleased that they worked. They're adjustable and close completely when not in use. I would def recommend!
